Everybody makes mistakes, and they help you become perfect.
Everyone will teach you how to be a great photographer and the drops required. But who is going to teach you how to make the most out of the mistakes you made?
So today we will discuss the top mistakes you can make as a photographer and how to avoid them! Without further ado, let us jump right into it.
5 common mistakes you make as a photographer:
Unchecked white balance:
We forget that our camera won’t check the white balance regardless of our manual hard work. Your camera is your extended body part. You need to guide it to check the white balance.
Like setting a cloudy setting to sunset will give you a tacky orange cast.
Not playing with the subject:
It is normal for everyone to start by just placing the subject in the center of the frame. You should play with the frame by placing the subject to either of the thirds. This will help the viewer move around the image and explore all bits of it.
Being out of focus:
Your perfect shot won’t make it to the list if the focus is not sharp enough. If the subjects are not sharp enough then the focus of the viewer shifts away from the image. The picture should match the sharpness we encounter in our daily lives.
You do not need to photograph every perfect thing you see. Your focus should not always be on the subject. A cluttered background will ruin your image rather than focusing just on the subject.
Less is more:
Small is beautiful, you know. Excess of anything reduces the beauty. Try to focus on some bits that you can perceive at once.
With this, I hope you know how to fix the mistakes you must have been making and are all set. Let us know some of your learnings.
