Do you ever wonder how people can manage to click such beautiful photos underwater? Is underwater photography synthetically created or someone follows this genre?

Do not worry, my friend! Today we have a handmade, crispy, and soul-striking guide on how you can explore underground photography. This shall include tips on how to pick up the right gear, efficient pieces of equipment, and the technicalities involved.

Without further ado, let us jump right onto ‘All about underwater photography!’

Different styles of underwater photography:

Macro Underwater Photography:

This is a challenging task, but much more rewarding. A plus point here is that you can get in touch with your subjects pretty closely. All you need here is a lens that can suit the macro needs and a good amount of lighting.

Ever heard about… underwater fashion photoshoots?

All it involves you is to have your model swim around and float like a butterfly in your chosen water body. An important tip here would be to have them wear an outfit not suited for water to add extra spice!

The water will create a scattered effect and result in surreal underwater photos!

Scenic underwater shots:

All you need is a wide angle lens to pick up on the corral life to create an effect of wander amongst the audience. Another thing to note here is that many pictures are half above and half under the water.

It is difficult to create such images as exposure to the sky’s light and sea’s darkness is tricky. So if you manage that, you are good to go!

Underwater wildlife:

There is so much left unexposed under the water sources. We never get to see the unseen, however, wildlife underwater can be shown with much dramatic effect.

Clicking tropic fish, whales, sharks, and seals is a tough job but there are ways you can get in touch with professional divers and get it done.

Most of the underwater photography is done for pleasure, however, if you choose to be a part of a scientific survey, the growth and gain would be humongous. Underwater photography can be used for various technical surveys and help you document climate change.

This is not only going to give you clout but also get you better clients and increase your financial pool.

With this, we come to an end to part 1 of underq\water photography. Let us know what do you think about it. Until then, click away my friend.
